Free coaching center was inaugurated on Sunday for the preparation of Navodaya and Netarhat in Gutusai with the untiring efforts of Helping Hand Chaibasa.

Neha Nishad, founder of Helping Hand Chaibasa, said that during the early times of lockdown when she was distributing rice and food to the poor and needy people in the street, she got many children who have left their schooling completely. After leaving studies, children were wandering here and there and adopting wrong habits.

Neha along with her group searched for such children who needed education enrolled them in school. She and her group are teaching these children. Thinking that the future of these children should be bright, Neha thought of running a free coaching institute for the preparation of Navodaya and Netarhat, and did that work today.

Vikas Dodrajka, Sanjay Kachhap, Prakash Laguri, Arvid Laguri and Engineer Amrit etc. were present at the inauguration ceremony of the institute. The Helping Hand team guided the children about their future and said that they will always be ready to serve and help them.

Meanwhile, the children present here also presented a sample of their talent. Here, a nine year old child, Lakshya Laguri, was the center of attention, having won the gold by defeating the Australian player in Taekkond a year earlier. He also talked about coming to coaching institute to study for the preparation of Netarhat. Other members of Helping Hands Chaibasa were Poonam Jha, Gudiya Rajak, Sudhanshu Shekhar, Kapil Chirania, Sonu Kumar, Manish Nishad, Adil and Amit etc. on the occasion. As well as a group of 35 children were also present there.

Phone Booth

In the Sadar Hospital, Chaibasa, a sample collection center was inaugurated on 4th April’20. It will be used to collect nasal and throat swab samples for Covid-19 Testing. This not only reduces the manpower but also provides protection of the health personnel from any expected COVID-19 patient. It also cut down the need for the PPE.

Co-Bot

The remote-controlled robots will serve food and medicines to Covid-19 Patients in two hospitals in West Singbhum district from 14th April’20. This step was taken to protect the doctor and health worker from getting affected with the coronavirus disease, COVID-19

Touch-Free Wash Basin

A washbasin is installed in the district dedicated COVID-19 hospital to prevent touching the washbasin. This will provide safety to health personnel and visitors to the hospital.

Currency Disinfectant

A currency note and the cheque sanitizer machine was installed in the Bank of India, chaibasa branch to disinfect the currency using UV rays.

Disinfectant Chamber

The full-body disinfectant chamber is installed in the Chakradarpur Railway Hospital. The portable chamber has a mist sprayer through which sanitizer is sprayed throughout the body, disinfecting it in around two minutes.

Face Shield

A cheap face shield that prevents bodily fluids from reaching the wearer and is it to be worn in addition to the mask and protective equipment.

Film Shooting in Chaibasa

Film Shooting in Chaibasa under Kolhan Entertainment.

The shooting of a two-and-a-half-hour social film (Roove Huju: Geyaa Judee Taangee Re Taeen Mein) started under the banner of Kolhan Entertainment. The film depicts tribal customs. In today’s era, people are forgetting about their past culture. The film will depict the culture of tribals.

The film is produced by Kolhan Entertainment’s producer Bablu Banra and director, cameraman, editor as Rajesh Banra. The lead actors in this film are Kuldeep Boyapai, Mithali Honhaga, Soma Soye, Meenu Banra, Damodar Hasada, Shiva Devgam, Sreejon Haiburu.

The shooting of the film will be done in many villages of Kolhan including Chaibasa, Jhinkpani, Rajkharsawan, etc. The film will be released at the end of March. People will be made aware of the film through projectors in many villages.

Pauline Laravoire, Sustainability Director of the Techno India Group from Paris origin have advised the students not to accept all the events around them in the same way but to find out the reason for that. If we start doing that, then in a few days more than half of the social problems will end. She was addressing the students as a keynote speaker at a workshop organized by The Root, Entrepreneurship Department of Chaibasa Engineering College.

In this workshop, Pauline told the students about its impact on sustainable development and social entrepreneurship. Encouraged students with social start-ups. Many technical and psychology-related aspects related to this were also discussed. She also answered the students’ questions. The workshop was based on the career and its impact.

Deputy Principal of the college Prof. De Raha reported that Laravoire spent 25 years of her life in Paris and completed her graduation from HEC Paris. She started an organization called Y-East, which is under the banner of the Techno India Group. She is also the co-founder of the Aqua Association, which works on quality water access and is a non-profit organization in Paris.

He informed that in the future with the help of Laravoire and her team, the students of this college will also be provided with professional training on entrepreneurship and social startup. Deputy Director Prof. (Dr.) Sudipta Chakraborty was also present in this workshop. About 120 students participated in this workshop.

35 people fined in 2 days, recovered 60 thousand

Motorcyclists without helmet fined by Chaibsasa Transport Department.

The District Transport Department has imposed a total fine of 60 thousand rupees on 33 motorcycles and 2 Tata Magic drivers for violating traffic rules within two days. In Chaibasa, a motorcycle driver incurred a total loss of six thousand rupees due to lack of license and helmet.

On behalf of the District Transport Department, it was told that on Wednesday, by running a motorcycle investigation campaign in front of the Sadar police station, 11 motorcyclists without helmets were charged a total penalty of Rs 11 thousand.

Similarly, motorists were checked without a helmet in front of Mufassil police station on Tuesday. During this period, a fine of Rs 49 thousand was recovered from 22 motorcycle drivers and two Tata Magic drivers. Tata Magic was from Odisha and did not have permits here. 10–10 thousand rupees were recovered from both.

Here, Inspector cum Sadar police station in-charge Niranjan Tiwari said that the motorists would be constantly monitored. Most people ride their bikes without helmets. The police will keep a special watch on these. Also, youth and women below the age of 18 years will also be monitored.

Younger young men and women will be stopped first, after which their family members will be called and fined. Special attention will be paid to this. In most of the road accidents that are happening right now, girls learning scooty are involved, three people sit and ride while learning.

Police do not mean to harass anyone. Police ask people to wear helmets continuously for the safety of the motorcycle and scooty drivers. If you are wearing a helmet, then the police have no problem. Niranjan Tiwari called upon the motorcycle driver not to drive without a helmet and go safely to his home.

Workers stopped construction of Chaibasa Medical College

Chaibasa Medical College construction stopped.

The Construction of Chaibasa Medical College was going in Ulijhari, Chaibasa at a cost of 300 crores. However, the workers stopped on Wednesday, demanding to increase the wage rate. All the working laborers gathered and started raising slogans demanding fair compensation.

As soon as the workers arrived in the morning to work, they started demanding the management to increase the wage rate. More than 100 workers engaged in its construction work stopped the work, raising slogans for their demand.

The laborer Bhimsen Devgam added in this regard that a medical college is being built, for this consent was taken from all the villagers. We are not opposing the construction of all medical colleges, we are also working in that place. But the wage rate fixed by the government should be given. At present, Rs 250 is being given to laborers and Rs 350 to mistry. While the government has fixed the wage rate at Rs 390 for laborers and Rs 630 for mistry. On this basis, the management of the medical college is not giving wages. Many times, the workers have asked the contractor to increase the wage rate but said that the rate is being given on the same basis. He added that no safety is given while working. If any incident happens to the workers somehow then who will take responsibility for it. Therefore, management helmets, shoes, and gloves should be provided to the laborers. So that construction work can be done safely.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the Medical College on 23 September 2018 in 25 acres of land after a lot of controversy in Ulijhari. Once the medical college is constructed, the health condition of the people of the area will improve completely. But there is controversy from time to time in the construction of a medical college. The construction of the college is to be completed in three years, in which the college and women hostels will also be constructed.

Renovation of Bus Stand in Chaibasa

Bus Stand Chowk, Chaibasa

Chaibasa bus stand is going to be renovated and a new bus stand is going to be constructed very soon. In this regard, the exercise has been started by the city council of Chaibasa.

This time the bus stand will be prepared as a model of Ranchi-Khadagara bus stand. On Monday 16th Sept, City Council Executive Officer Abhay Kumar Jha, Vice President of Bus Honor Association, Mohammad Bariq, and the engineer of Para Mom Consultancy Limited inspected the government bus stand and private bus stand.

On the spot, the executive officer told that this time both the private and government bus stands will be merged and one bus stand will be constructed that will be full of all facilities. The new bus stand will have facilities for passenger seating, two large halls, separate toilets for men and women, pure drinking water, route number for each carriage.

With these facilities, the passengers will know immediately from which number stand, they have to board the bus. Currently, the passengers have some difficulty in catching the bus to go to Ranchi and Tata.

Also, all arrangements of today’s era will be equipped, including malls, shops, guest houses for travelers, clean and beautiful restaurants. There are approximately one and a half acres of land combining both bus stands.

Chaibasa bus stand departs from Bihar, Bengal, Odisha and other places on a daily basis. The executive officer said that its DPR will be prepared and sent to the city development department Ranchi soon. After acceptance from there, the foundation stone will be done immediately, so that a new bus stand will be ready in 2020.

Earlier, Planning was going on that the Chaibasa bus stand will be constructed out of the city, but the Vice President of the Bus Honor Association, Mo. Bariq put a lot of effort so that the old bus stand will be renovated.

Prabhat Pheri on the Occasion of National Sports Day

Prabhat Pheri organized by students of Mahila College Chaibasa on the occasion of National Sports Day.

Students of Women’s’ College and Tata College organized Prabhat Pheri in Chaibasa on the occasion of National Sports Day. Prabhat Pheri of Women’s College was headed by Dr. Nivaran Mahatha, Head of the Department of Sanskrit.

Students of Women’s College shouted various slogans from Women’s college to Kachhri Chowk in a long queue regarding Khelo India, Healthy Stay India, Fit India, will not keep Android phones and will pay attention in studies .. etc.

Later, under the inspiration of Dr. Asha Mishra, the principal of the college, all the students of the college took an oath to stay healthy and be fit by participating in the Prime Minister’s Fit India program at 10 am. The program was mainly attended by Arpit Suman Toppo, Suman Kumari, Smita Thakur, Alka Pradhan, Shatabdi Dutta, Priyanka Mitra, Divya Sharma, etc. and other teachers and students.

On the other hand, Prabhat Pheri and the oath ceremony at Tata College was led by Principal Prof. Kasturi Boyapai. While addressing the students at Tata College, the principal said that we will not be healthy until we are fit. Therefore, if you are fit first then you will be healthy yourself. On the occasion, children took a pledge to remain healthy.

6th Inter-School Painting, General Knowledge and Science Competition is
being organized by the Gaints Group of Chaibasa and sponsored by ‘Satyam Builders’, under the ‘Knowledge-Campaign 2019’ program, on August 4 (Sunday) at local Padmavati Jain Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir in Chaibasa

Like every year, this painting contest is for students from class LKG to class 10th, general knowledge competition is for students from class 5th to 10th and science competition is for students from class 7th to 10th.

  • Class LKG and UKG – 9 am to 10 am – Fill colors in the given picture.
  • Class 1 and 2 – 9 am to 10 pm – Make a picture of a fish and fill the color.
  • Class 3 and 4 – 11.30 am to 12.30 am – Make a picture of the boat in the water and fill the color.
  • Class 5 and 6 – 11.30 am to 12.30 pm – Make a picture of a flower with leaves.
  • Class 7 and 8 – 1.30 pm to 2.30 pm – Make a picture of Shaheed Bhagat Singh.
  • Class 9 and 10 – 1.30 pm to 2.30 pm – Describe your school premises.

Detailed information regarding the program has been made available to all schools. In order to facilitate the students, apart from schools. Registration for drawing and general knowledge competition can be done at various places in Chaibasa. The registration fee is only 30 rupees.

The science competition will be held in two groups for class 7th-8th and 9th-10th. Up to two entries per group will be accepted from each school in the competition. Only the selected students/students selected by the school will be able to participate in the competition and the registration fee for this contest is only Rs.100 / – per group. This competition will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm in Madhav Auditorium.

The result of the competition and the prize distribution ceremony will be held on August 25 at 4.30 pm in Mangilal Rungta Plus 2 School Chaibasa.

District Athletic Championship

On the 27th and 28th of July, the West Singhbhum District Athletics Championship will be held in Zila School Ground. General secretary of West Singhbhum District Athletics Association Ajay Kumar Nayak told that participants from different age groups can participate in this competition.

Participants can participate in various categories of under-12 boys and girls, under 14 boys and girls, under 16 boys and girls, under 18 boys and girls, under 20 boys and girls and men and women’s events.
